Our Staff
Meet our small team of dedicated and experienced staff

Izzie Brinkworth

My first real childcare experience was as an au pair in the South of France( in 1978). I really enjoyed looking after the children, but it wasn't until my son was born in 1994 that I decided to change career as I wanted to be at home while my children were small. So I set up as a Childminder in 1995, and over the years cared for over 20 children from the village and surrounding area.
My children both attended Kirtlington Preschool and so when a position for an assistant came up i jumped at the opportunity. I combined both Preschool and after Preschool/School childminding and completed my NVQ Level 2 EY Care and Education qualification. The Preschool joined the Reception children in the school as a Partnership Foundation Stage Class in September 2004. I then completed my Diploma in Preschool Practice (DPP) Level 3 and became Supervisor in 2006.

Vacant post
We are currently looking to recruit another team member. Further details of the vacancy can be found here.
I first started working in childcare in 1992 where I worked at a private nursery in Summertown for 9 years looking after children from 6 weeks to 5 year olds, which I really enjoyed. I then wanted to have a change so I then went on to nannying where I looked after 3 children aged 4,6 and a newborn. I worked for the family for 2 years. I then became pregnant and left the family to look after my son.
I took 3 years out of childcare to care for him until he started Kirtlington pre school. In 2007 a position became available at Kirtlington pre school. I applied for the job and was offered it and have been working and enjoying my job ever since.
My qualifications are Certificate in Childcare and Education level 2 which I completed in Dec 1996.
Cache level 3 Diploma for the children and young people's workforce which I completed in July 2012.
